冬至の日に行われる毎年恒例のランタンフェスティバル。
一年で最も夜が長い日を楽しみ、太陽が戻ってくるこれからの日々を祝います。
East Side / Yaletown / Granville Island / Chinatown の4箇所でランタンが灯され、音楽やダンスなどのパフォーマンスが繰り広げられます。
因みにこの日は月食も見られます。
